The Lo-Fi Hip-Hop producer Totojira is yet to come out to the public
with his new collaboration album with monk on fire, it is in fact a
concept album (i am a geek about concept albums) about death, it’s alright
but the concept and the poetic way it explains it during the couple
interludes couldn’t make me less interested for the concept.
The beats are solid and precisely made but the lyricism and in general the
organisation in general is pretty poor in general, the flow in the songs are
really weak, especially in “Art Of Dying” or “Loss Is A Lesson” listening to
some songs like these feel like absolute torture of second hand emberassment,
it’s like looking at the old lyrics you wrote when you we’re being a awkard
teenager and that feeling you get.
